Students & Families
A Safe Space to Unleash Creativity While Building Confidence and Lifelong Skills
Playing a vital role.
The WNYIC provides students from kindergarten through 8th grade with an opportunity to unleash their creativity and build confident identities as inventors and entrepreneurs. Parents and caregivers play a vital role in supporting and enabling the invention process. The WNYIC offers free public information sessions at local libraries throughout the school year to help support families working with young inventors.
How The WNYIC Helps Students & Families
Through hands-on projects, students cultivate resilience and determination, empowering them to face challenges and extract valuable lessons. Students also develop STEM experience and independent thinking skills, becoming self-motivated learners equipped with problem-solving and communication skills essential for future academic and professional achievements.
